Star Wars Pod Racer Mac Download

  • Download (491 MB) Download - Easy Setup (528 MB) Star Wars: Episode I: Racer for Windows is essentially a straight port of the Nintendo 64 version, and I'd have to say it doesn't handle nearly as well as its home videogame system cousin. Of course, this isn't a game which I've really enjoyed on either platform, so it might just be me.

Description of Star Wars: Episode I - Racer

It's been said that Star Wars Episode I – The Phantom Menace gave us two good things: Duel of the Fates and the Star Wars Episode I: Racer. Your mileage may vary, of course, but if you enjoy Star Wars and/or racing games, SWEIR has a lot to offer.

There are a multitude of different pod races, each with different specs, looks and feels, and weird aliens to pilot them (unless you choose the game's Mario, Anakin). The courses offer a wide variety of styles, from the recklessly fast circuits to those that offer twists, winds, and hairpin turns, and demand a more precise style of racing. On top of that, the environments are vividly colorful and gorgeous to look at—you might even want to sacrifice a race or two just to explore every nook and cranny of these race tracks.

Perhaps what SWEIR does best is capture the feel of the dangerously fast speeds of pod-racing. The scale is just right, and the blurring kicks in at just the right time, and it evokes that same feeling as watching the scenes from the movie—you're going fast! Maybe too fast... and one wrong move will have you into the wall at hundreds of miles per hour. It's an intense game and well worth checking out for fans of racers, even if you didn't like the Phantom Menace.

Brilliant. Got it running in Win 10 no problem. Downloaded the ISO and x64 fix. Installed from burned ISO via fix. Only problem, on first try message saying 'create dxgifactory2 could not be found. solution was to rename the dxgi.dll file in the game folder to d3d11.dll. Problem solved, game runs great.

I downloaded this and even got Sheepshaver to work perfectly with OS9, but the file for Racer is just not able to run. I keep coming up against errors and warnings and nothing will run. I downloaded stuffit and Disc Copy and it still won't go. Would love some help.

Podracers were repulsorcraft that were built as racing vehicles. Capable of achieving speeds over 700 kilometers per hour, podracers were used in the similarly named sport of Podracing.[1] Podracers came in various shapes and sizes, although the general construction of a Podracer was a one-man cockpit that pulled along by two engines which were attached to the cockpit via two cables. Variations of this included the Podracer used by Ben Quadinaros, which had a total of four engines connected to the cockpit. Another, more unusual Podracer was the one employed by Neva Kee, which was one solid unit, with the cockpit placed in front of the engines. Podracers could also be modified at the owner's whim. The crafty Dug pilot Sebulba, for example, had installed an illegal flamethrower on his racer. Anakin Skywalker flew a heavily modified Podracer that was partially built from the ground up. Other Podracers included the Ord Pedrovia, which was piloted by Gasgano, and the Vulptereen 327, which was piloted by Dud Bolt. The pilot Clegg Holdfast flew a red KT9 Wasp, a Podracer which was manufactured by a company named Voltec. Quote From Wookieepedia
